Cubico Coffee Barbecue Sauce

Take steaks, chicken wings, pork chops and ribs to another level with this simple and delicious barbecue recipe. Our secret ingredient is of course Cubico Coffee; yes coffee! This magical drink balances the sauce sweetness while adding a hint of acidity. Cubico Coffee barbecue is out of this world!


1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 cloves of garlic minced
2 cups ketchup
1 cup cider vinegar
1 cup honey
1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup freshly brewed Cubico Coffee Espresso Blend or your Cubico Coffee of choice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 chili powder (if you like it spicy add more)


  1. Over medium heat add olive oil and sauté onion until they are gold and tender. Add minced garlic and cook for about 2 minutes.
  2. Pour the remaining ingredients into a large saucepan and stir; bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 25 to 30 minutes until the consistency is slightly thick.

 Cubico Coffee barbecue sauce can be stored in the refrigerated for to 2 weeks, just placed it in a close container.
