This yummy dessert is perfect for the fall season. The frosting topping is creamy and the walnuts add crunchiness. Try this recipe; you will not be disappointed.
Bar Ingredients:
1⁄4 cup freshly brewed Cubico Coffee House Blend, cooled
1 (18 ounce) box of spice cake mix
1 (15 ounce) can of pumpkin puree
1 large egg
Topping Ingredients:
15 ounces cream cheese, softened
1⁄2 cup sugar or brown sugar
1 large egg
1⁄4 cup of freshly brewed Cubico Coffee House Blend, cooled
1 (46 g) packet instant cinnamon and spice oatmeal
1⁄3 cup walnuts, chopped
Preparation:
- Lightly spray a baking pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350°F .
- In a large bowl, blend together cake mix, pumpkin, cooled Cubico Coffee House Blend and egg. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar. Pour egg and Cubico Coffee House Blend. Beat until smooth.
- Place cake batter into backing pan. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the cake batter. Sprinkle with instant oatmeal and walnuts.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F. Reduce the temperature to 325°F and continue baking for 45 minutes.
- Let it let cool completely before cutting. Serve at room temperature and enjoy!
